I am a policy writer and communicator, working to advance green technologies. 

Prior to this I was a journalist, focusing on climate, natural resources, and policy.

​My work has appeared in Corporate Knights, Climate Insider, Arctic Focus, The Montreal Gazette, The National Post, Forbes, Religion News Service, Reuters, VICE, The New Statesman, Politico Europe, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Dow Jones Newswires,  as well as numerous technology and science magazines.

I have held staff positions at S&P Global (Canada Correspondent), Mining Magazine (Deputy Editor), and Climate Insider (Editorial Director), as well as Mergermarket, where I led its Paris bureau during the early years of Covid-19.

​I also led news startup Central Asia Newswire, covering political and economic developments in the region, which was widely read by diplomats, investors, and geopolitical analysts.

I have also worked with the following companies and organizations to provide content: Anglo American, McKinsey & Company, BlackRock, International Council of Mining and Metals (ICMM), SRK Consulting, McGill University's Department of Materials Engineering, Montfort Communications, Born to Be Beautiful (NGO), and Saskatchewan Research Council.

I hold an MA in science journalism from City University London (now City St. George), an MA from McGill University in political science, and a BA from Marist College (now University) in political science. I also studied at the London School of Economics as a Hansard Scholar.

I speak English, French, Italian, and am re-attempting to pick up German. I have forgotten more Norwegian and Russian than I care to think about.
